Both Bidco United and Nzoia Sugar will be eying their first win of the season when they face off with Bidco playing host. The two are placed low in the league standings, going to the fifth round of matches. Bidco have two points, in 14th place and Nzoia have so far managed one point, in 16th place. Hosts Bidco are going through a rough patch in the season, and are coming from a 2-0 loss to Nairobi City Stars. So far, they have managed just one clean sheet in the opening four games, and in the last three they’ve conceded six goals. In the last 10 league matches, Bidco have managed just two wins and three clean sheets; they’ve conceded two or more goals in three of the last five. However, they have a good run at home ahead of this game. Save for the loss to Bandari, they haven’t lost another of their last eight league games at home. In the eight home games, they have three wins and four clean sheets.

Nzoia Sugar are also enduring tough times; their only point so far was collected at home to Sofapaka in a 0-0 draw. That was also their only clean sheet in four matches but at least they’ve managed to score in the last two matches, after earlier failing to score in two. Away from home, they have one win in 27 league matches and they’ve failed to score in two of the last five. They have conceded two or more goals twice in the last five matches. Four losses in five away league matches isn’t really an inspiring run to take to this game. Last season, Nzoia beat Bidco in the corresponding fixture, away at Sudi Stadium but on visiting Bidco, they drew 1-1.
