Sevilla beat an under-strength Real Madrid side on Wednesday to move into seventh place in the table. That would be enough to get them into the Europa League qualifying rounds but with two La Liga games to go, they are only two points clear of eighth placed Getafe who host Atletico Madrid this weekend. Sevilla trail their opponents by five points but are only three behind sixth placed Villarreal and overtaking them would get them straight into the group stages. The win over Real Madrid was their second in a week, a good comeback after going seven league matches without a win. Both were at home though and on their travels, Sevilla have lost 11 league games this season and have just one point from their last four. Those games included losses at three of the bottom five in the table showing just how bad they can be on the road.

Real Betis have had an impressive season and start the weekend in fifth place. There's no chance of them getting any higher so the final two games of the season will see them trying to protect what they have, namely a place in the group stages of the Europa League and avoiding defeat in this game is all they need. Betis lost at Athletic Bilbao at the weekend but home form is much more impressive. They have won their last four at home conceding just one goal and lost just two of the last nine against Real Madrid and Barcelona. They can get the home win here to clinch that Europa League group place.
