Real Betis will host Real Madrid as both sides look to rise from draws in the second round of La Liga. Hosts Real Betis are still winless, their opening two draws have them in 10th place while Real Madrid are third with four points. Betis are coming from a 1-1 draw with Cadiz and have no clean sheet in the last five matches. They’ve come from behind in both their o0pening games of the season and one of their goals was an own goal and another a penalty goal. Both sides have scored in each of their last five matches, and one clean sheet only in the last seven La Liga matches puts a question mark on their defensive solidity. Betis are unbeaten in their last 13 league matches, but nine of them are draws.

Real Madrid on the other hand, had to come from down twice to salvage a point against Levante, in a game they took a fifth minute lead in. They drew 3-3 and have only one clean sheet in their last five matches, with both teams scoring in four of Real’s last five matches. Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last 20 league matches, with 14 wins in there and they’ve scored two or more goals in seven of their last 10 matches. New manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on rejuvenating the team after key departures and they’ve been heavily linked with Frenchman Kylian Mbappe. While they don’t seem to have many problems in attack, strategies to outscore opposition have been found to work well for teams with defensive weaknesses. The Madrid side has a 16-match unbeaten run in away La Liga matches. Against Betis, however, Real have one win and two losses in the last five meetings.
