Besiktas Istanbul vs B36 Torshavn Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Two first half goals put Besiktas firmly in the driving seat in this tie as they travelled to B36 Torshavn and ran out 2-0 winners. They might be slighly disappointed that didn't score more goals but there should still be no problems for them in thIs Europa League second qualifying round tie. The wiinners are likely to meet LASK Linz in the next round who are 4-0 up from the first leg against Lillestrom. Besiktas failed in their bid to win the Turkish Superliga for the third year in a row last season and could only finish fourth hence their place in the Europa League, though they were only four points adrfit of champions Galatasaray. Last season saw them reach the last sixteen of the Champions League before being beaten by Bayern Munich. The season before that they reached the last eight of this competition losing on penalties to Lyon.  Over 90 minutes they have only lost one of their last 12 home Europa League games so this is a tough task for B36 Torshavn.

The visitors have to come out attacking to have any chance of getting back into this tie and that's going to leave big gaps at the back, the longer the game goes without them making any progress. They are currently fifth in the Faroe Islands league and have lost three of their last four league matches.  With only two wins in 11 away Europa League games, this looks booked for a comfortable home win with Besiktas leading at both half and full time as in the first leg.
