Bayern Munich and Union Berlin lock horns at the Allianz Arena in this Bundesliga match. The home team are top of the table with 60 points while the visitors are currently in eighth place with 38 points. Bayern are marching towards a record 10th consecutive title and are seven points ahead of second placed Dortmund though they have played an extra match. They will be concerned that they drew their last two matches which has seen their lead at the top being sliced. The last time Bayern had a longer winless run was in 2018 when they went three matches without a win. Bayern have failed to win four of their nine matches in the second half of the season while in the first 17 matches of the first half of the season they only failed to win on three occasions.

Union Berlin are coming off a disappointing 1-1 home draw against relegation threatened Stuttgart in their last match. They have only had one win in their last six league matches which has severely dented their hopes of European qualification. They are now six points behind the automatic qualifying positions and will need an excellent finish to the season to make the top six. Union Berlin have lost their last three away matches in the league for the first time since 2002 and have never lost four in a row in their league history. They have also failed to score in any of these matches.
