They will host Hertha Berlin in the third week of Bundesliga, hoping to go top of the standings. Bayern have four points, in fourth place while Hertha Berlin are bottom with no point. The champions played their rescheduled German Cup game against Bremer SV right before this clash, and won 12-0 for their third straight win. That was their only clean sheet in 10 matches and just as before, their defending remains an issue. Bayern thrive on outscoring opponents and going to this, they’ve scored two or more goals in the last three matches. They have just one clean sheet in their last five league matches but they’ve scored two or more in the last four and are unbeaten in the five. At home, they have four straight wins and a 28-match unbeaten run in the league. Robert Lewandowski has carried his hot streak to this season, and in his last four matches, he’s scored four. Hertha Berlin had a tough campaign last season, finishing only two points above the drop zone and a massive 37 behind Bayern Munich.
