Borussia Dortmund have been top of the Bundesliga for most of the season. They did lose the lead for a short while to Bayern Munich but went two points clear last weekend with a win over Wolfsburg, while Bayern could only draw at Freiburg. Dortmund had a bad run earlier this year that produced just one win in eight league and cup games. That saw Bayern make up ground on them and exits from both the Champions League and German Cup. They got themselves back on track though and have won each of their last three league games, scoring eight goals in the process. Away form has seen them only win two of their last six league games and the last four have seen them only earn five points including an away draw at bottom-of-the-table Nurnberg.

Bayern Munich won their first four league games of the season but then won just two of the next eight to slip behind dominant Dortmund. Since the start of December their league form vastly improved with a run of 13 wins in 14 games. That took them to the top of the Bundesliga but they lost that lead last week after having to come from behind to get a point at Freiburg. A form guide for the last 15 league games has them seven-points clear of Dortmund and they have been averaging three goals a game. At home, Bayern had gone four league games without a win but the last seven have all been won with 23 goals scored and just two conceded. A win here takes them back to the top and that's the prediction.
