BATE Borisov vs Slavia Mozyr Prediction & Betting Tips - Cup

BATE Borisov made a shaky start to the new season but have picked up well in recent weeks. They host Slavia Mozyr in the second leg of the Belarus Cup semi-final and trail 1-0 after the first match. An 11th minute goal by Yuriy Pantea gave Slavia the lead but they were unable to extend that lead. Since that match, BATE have played three games in the Belarus Premier League, winning two of them and drawing the other. All three of those games saw BATE keep a clean sheet and are now fourth in the table, three points off the leaders FC Slutsk. That's an achievement considering four of their six league games have been played on the road. Their two home league games have produced four points with just one goal scored. Only one of their last 21 home league and cup games have been lost with four wins and a draw in the last five.

Slavia Mozyr are 13th in the league, two places and five points above the relegation zone. They have already beaten BATE twice this season, having also defeated them in the league. However, their form has dipped in recent weeks with only one point from their last three league games. Their most recent game saw them lose 3-1 at FC Minsk. It's not been an easy ride for them in the cup this season. They needed extra time in the last 32 to beat NFK Minsk and had to come from behind in the last 16 to get past Vitebsk. It was much easier in the quarter finals as their scheduled opponets, Dynapro Mosilev disbanded and forfeited the tie. Their away form this season has seen them lose two of their last three with six goals conceded. BATE are in much better form and with home advantage can get the win here, leading at both half and full time.
