The season just keeps getting better for BATE Borisov. The league leaders won the Belarus Cup at the weekend and will be confident of three points at home to sixth placed Isloch Minsk. It took until the 121st minute to get the winner but Sunday saw BATE defeat Dinamo Brest 1-0 to lift the trophy. They return to league action with a one-point lead over Energetik.  They might lose top spot before this game begins as Energetik host Vitebsk and will be confident of winning that match. BATE got off to a slow start with two losses in a row (both away from home) but have since won seven league and cup games in a row. 14 goals being scored in the last four. Home form has seen them win three and draw one, scoring seven times and conceding just once.

Isloch Minsk have now won five and lost five of their ten league games. Their place in the top ten is entirely down to their home form as they are yet to earn a point on the road. Their weekend game saw even their home form dip as they lost 2-1 at home to Energetik. It looked as if the game was going to end in a draw but the visitors clinched the win with a 92nd minute goal. That was the second league defeat in a row and their third in four. Away form is appalling with three losses, one goal scored and eight conceded. This is going to be another tough game for them and the tip is to back BATE to win and be ahead at both half and full time.
