Apart from their opening day defeat at the hands of Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona have not shown any weaknesses in attack despite missing their key forwards. Perhaps the biggest issues they have to deal with are defensive, as the champions have not managed a clean sheet in the opening three matches of the season, letting in five goals in three matches. Just before the international break, they played to a 2 – 2 draw with Osasuna as for Valencia, they will be hoping to pick up from where they left before the international break, hitting Real Mallorca 2 – 0 to secure their first clean sheet and win of the season after managing just a point in the opening two matches. Valencia tours Camp Nou hoping to build on the comfortable win in their last game. While their run has not been great, Barcelona have nine wins in their last 15 matches in La Liga and in six of the last 10, they have managed to score two goals or more. They however have just one clean sheet in the last six La Liga matches. Barcelona are beasts at home though; they have not lost in the last 13 La Liga games at home, and have won each of the last eight. Of the 13 they have drawn just one and won 12. In the 13 home matches in La Liga, Barcelona have scored two or more in 11 and they have clean sheets in three of the last five. Valencia, on the other hand, have six wins in their last 10 La Liga matches, and they have scored in eight of the 10. They have lost three of their last 11 away matches in La Liga and scored at least twice in four of their last five away league matches. Valencia have not lost to Barcelona in the last three meetings; two of them ended in draws but Barcelona have scored in each of the last 26 matches against Valencia. The two sides have met 61 times and Barcelona have 31 wins while Valencia have 13.
