Barcelona have a five-point lead at the top of La Liga and have won their last eight league games conceding just twice. Midweek saw them hammer Sevilla 6-1 in the Copa del Rey clawing back with ease the 2-0 deficit from the first leg. Their last four home league games have all been won and only once this season have they failed to svore twice in a home league game. 36 gpals have been scored and that's 17 more than any other team has managed at home in La Liga this season. They have won five of their last six home games against Valencia.

The away side are seventh in the table and that's a place and two points behind the final Europa League place. They are in good form with four wins in their last five league and cup games, though they did lose an away cup tie to Getafe. Valencia would have been a lot higher in the table but for drawing 11 keague games this season. They have only won three away league games and scored just eight goals. The last four league games have only produced four points and another defeat looks likely here. Go for Barcelona to get the win and be leading at both half and full time.
