Barcelona haven't won the Champions League since 2015 and have lost at the quarter final stage for the past three seasons. To make matters worse for them, Real Madrid keep on winning the competition and that's hurting the current La Liga champions. Barcelona have made a 100% start to the defence of their title, scoring 14 goals and conceding just three. Saturday saw them win 2-1 at Real Sociedad having to come back from a 1-0 deficit. Home form has seen them hammer newly promoted Huesca 8-2 (again going 1-0 down) and beat Alaves 3-0. They are unbeaten at home in the last year, their last defeat coming to Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup. As for the Champions League, PSV might not want to hear that Barcelona are unbeaten in the last five years since a 3-1 home loss to Bayern Munich, a total of 26 games and 20 of the last 21 have ended in victory with only Juventus last season getting a draw.

PSV are top of the Dutch league with a 100% record and won 7-0 at Den Haag on Saturday making it 21 goals in five games so far this season. They haven't made it out of the group stage in the Champions League since the 2015-16 season and last year lost in the third qualifying round of the Europa League. To get to the group stage this season they beat BATE Borisov 6-2 on aggregate but face an almighty tough draw up against Barcelona, Tottenham and Inter Milan. The win at BATE ended a run of eight away Champions League games without a win and have won only three of the last 19. The tip for this game is to go for Barcelona to win and be ahead at both half and full time.
