Barcelona returned to the top of La Liga at the weekend but while they won the game against Sevilla, they lost Lionel Messi through injury. They top this Champions League group after winning their first two games. Inter Milan have also had wins over the other two teams in this group, Tottenham and PSV.  These two teams play each other home and away for their next couple of games in this group so if one team can get the lion share of the points, they'll be odds-on to win the group. A draw between PSV and Tottenham would be handy too. Barcelona are undefeated in their last four games since that shock away loss at Leganes, In terms of matches in La Liga and the Champions League, Barcelona haven't lost at home for two years. In the Champions League, the frightening statistics are that they haven't lost at home since 2013 and won 21 of the last 22.

Three previous visits by Inter in the Champions League to Barcelona have all ended in defeat and they are yet to score a goal. They are second in the group on six points and are third in Serie A, six points behind league leaders Juventus. Inter have won their last seven league and cup games but only won one of their last three away Champions League matches. Nine Serie A games this season have seen them only score 13 goals and six in four away games. This is of course a tough game for Inter, even with Messi on the sidelines.
