Barcelona vs Eibar Prediction & Betting Tips - LaLiga

Barcelona will be expected to win easily when they take on Eibar in La Liga this Saturday. Currently second in the table, one point behind Real Madrid, the reigning champions have an incredible home record that should not be tested by 16th-placed Eibar. Three points clear of the relegation zone, Eibar have only picked up one win from their 12 league games on the road. Meanwhile, Barcelona have picked up 34 of the 36 points available from their home fixtures, the only blemish being a goalless draw to a visiting Real Madrid; it's hardly anything to be ashamed of. Although they are in the race for both La Liga and Champions League, the feeling around Barca is that this season has been far from vintage. Quique Setien is still settling into the managerial hot-seat after his midseason appointment and further changes are anticipated. They have been sanctioned to make an emergency signing due to the injuries to forwards Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez. Getafe attacker Angel Rodriguez has been heavily linked.

Eibar won't be expecting much from this game but know that they need to stop the rot. Four games without a win in all competitions, zero wins from their last four away matches in the league. It doesn't make for pretty reading. Their home form is much better (67% of their points have been picked up there) with recent results including a victory over Atletico Madrid. Even though Barca have looked strangely vulnerable in recent games - three of their last four home victories were by a solitary goal - we wouldn't bet on Eibar taking the chances they get. In their 12 previous away games, Eibar scored only eight goals. Bet on Barca to win with a clean sheet.
