2021 French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova is on the comeback trail. The 15th seed faces unseeded Veronika Kudermetova in round two of this outdoor clay court Grand Slam. Time for our match prediction.
Krejcikova's match in Strasbourg last week was her first of the year due to a back injury. That match against Magda Linette was lost but the 29-year-old got her first win of the year in round one here with a straight sets win over Tatjana Maria.
Since winning the title in 2022, she'd lost in three consecutive first rounds at Roland Garros. The winner of this match will take on either 20th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova or unseeded Elisabetta Cocciaretto.
