Bandari and AFC leopards are both coming from losses in the FKFK Premier League and will be seeking a return to winning ways when they face off in Mombasa on Sunday. Bandari, the hosts dropped to fourth with six points after losing to Posta Rangers at home while Leopards lost to Gor Mahia and are now 10th with four points. Bandari’s defensive weaknesses were exposed in their last two matches, conceding four goals and they will want to have that addressed well in time. They have two losses in their last 10 matches and won seven in that run. In the last 10 matches, they’ve failed to score in just one, and they have one loss in eight home games, winning six. Bandari haven’t lost at home to AFC Leopards in their last five meetings. Their current coach Andre Cassa Mbungo and his assistant Anthony Kimani are former Leopards coaches and will know one or two weaknesses at their earlier employers.

Leopards lost to their bitter rivals Gor Mahia in the last game and they travel to a venue that hasn’t been very promising for them in the earlier matches. They have just one win in the last five matches, a 1-0 victory over Tusker FC on the opening weekend, and they haven’t scored another goal so far. They however have two clean sheets in the last three matches, though they haven’t scored more than a goal in the last six games. That, combined with the fact that Bandari have been comfortable in attack at home doesn’t hold much promise for Leopards. On their travels in the league, AFC Leopards have managed just two wins in the last 10 matches, and only two clean sheets. It will not go down well given their history in this game when playing away, and the fact that most teams struggle in the coastal region.
