There can't be many more frustrating happenings than beating the world champions 2-1 but still knowing you aren't going to be playing in the World Cup finals. That's the situation that Austria found themselves in last weekend when defeating Germany 2-1 and ending their long unbeaten run. Austria failed to qualify for Russia after finishing fourth in Group D four points adrift of the play-off place. It wasn't a great campaign as they only beat the bottom two teams on their travels and dropped points in three of their home games. They did show what they're capable of though with a 3-2 home win over eventual group winners Serbia. Austria haven't reached the World Cup finals since 1998 but at present are on a very good run of form. They have won their last seven games and in the last two beaten the World Cup hosts and the defending world champions. Only Wales have beaten them in their last 15 games and are unbeaten in their last nine at home, but they're still not going to the World Cup.

Brazil only lost one out of 18 games as they qualified for the World Cup finals and won the South American group by ten points. They go into this game on an unbeaten run of ten matches and have only lost to Argentina in their last 20 matches. When thinkiing of Brazil, we instantly think of their attacking flair but this side is also strong defensively. Brazil have kept four straight clean sheets and those were achieved against England, Russia, Germany and Croatia, so not a bad line-up. They have only conceded goals in two of their last 12 games and that's a great record to go alongside the magical strikers they have in their squad, especially now that Neymar is fit again. Go for the Brazilians to get a win in their final warm-up game.
