A win for Chelsea in this game would take them five points clear of Atletico Madrid and that would go a long way to finishing top of this group with Roma also two points behind them after the first set of Champions League fixtures. Chelsea had that terrible start to the defence of their Premier League title defence losing 3-2 at home to Burnley but they are unbeaten in all competitions since then with six wins and a draw with Arsenal and third in the Premier League coming into this match with Morata in top form having hit a hat-trick at Stoke on Saturday. They have struggled on their travels in this competition with just one win in the last seven. Atletico Madrid are second in La Liga with no defeats and are unbeaten in their last 11 home Champions League games and lost just one in the last 23. Their campaign this season started with a goalless draw against Roma and they know defeat here isn't going to help them one bit if they want to win this group. This should be a tight game and a bet on under 2.5 goals looks the bet to go for.
