Only four points separate the top six in La Liga and that's not how the season usually progresses. Barcelona top the table (a more common occurrence) but lost their last league game suffering a home defeat (an ever rarer happening). They lost that game 4-3, their second league defeat of the season compared to just one last term. That's two games without a win after being held by Inter in the Champions League but they have four points from their last two away games in La Liga and only one defeat this season on the road.

A win for Atletico Madrid will take them above Barcelona and would go top if Sevilla fail to beat Valladoid. They are in good form at present with no defeats in their last five league and cup games. In La Liga they are unbeaten in their last nine games and haven't lost since the first day of September. At home they have won the last four in a row with one loss in the last seven and just one in the last 27. They have scored nine goals in their last four home game and with Barcelona conceding four in their last match, the tip here is for over 2.5 goals to be scored.
