Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona do not have Copa del Rey assignments this week and will be focusing on La Liga action as they face off at the San Mames Barria in Bilbao. Seven points separate them, with Athletic currently on 21 points while Barcelona have 28 points so far. After a two-game winless run, Athletic hit Elche 1-0 to start the new year on a high. With four wins in their last five away matches, and having scored in all, Barcelona will carry the favorites’ tag in this game. They will also be confident after keeping four clean sheets in the last five away matches and their last two league matches away from home also ended in clean sheets. Four of their last six away matches in La Liga have also produced under 2.5 goals.
