Arsenal look to follow up an encouraging opening day victory by picking up another three points when West Ham come to visit the Emirates for Premier League action on Saturday. The Gunners kicked off the new season with a 3-0 win at Fulham last weekend. Alexandre Lacazette broke the deadlock, new signing Gabriel doubled the advantage, and star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed victory. It puts Arsenal top going into matchday two. West Ham had a dismal start by any comparison, getting their campaign underway with a 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle. Disarray behind the scenes had defined the Hammers' pre-season preparations and their shift against the Magpies was far from harmonious. David Moyes found consolation in the League Cup ahead of this meeting, his team beating Charlton 3-0 with much-maligned big-money striker Sebastian Haller getting two goals. The club captain, Aubameyang seems to one of many players to enjoy Arteta's tenure. The Gabonese forward scored 60 goals for Arsenal in the last two seasons. He's only scored once against West Ham in four appearances, all of which ended in Arsenal victory. In the form he's in, we would back him to open the scoring. West Ham are unbeaten in their last three away matches in the league. However, they lost the previous seven. They have lost their last five away matches at Arsenal and have failed to win nine of the last ten encounters with the Gunners.
