There’s so little that Arsenal can salvage from this season but they will be hoping for a good outcome in their home game against West Bromwich Albion when they face off on Sunday. Arsenal are on 49 points in ninth place, 11 points from the Europa League slot, while West Bromwich Albion have 26 points, in 19th place. The Gunners are heading to this game on the back of their elimination from the Europa League, at the semi finals stage, which is sure to mark this as one of their poorest seasons in history. The team has one win in the last five matches in all competitions and has been very poor defensively, keeping just two clean sheets in their last 13 league matches. A big part of their problems in the season bases on the fact that they haven’t done so well at home. They have no win in the last three home league matches; they have one win and three losses in the last five league matches at home. They have failed to score in the three home league matches and have no clean sheet in six. Arsenal have lost more (7) than they’ve won at home (6) in the Premier League this season. They did beat West Brom 4-0 in January, but are in no shape to register a similar result.

In their last 16 league matches, West Brom have managed just three wins and away from home, they have three wins and 10 losses. They kept just one clean sheet in their last 17 away matches this season.
