Arsenal Women lock horns with rivals Tottenham Hotspur Women just a few weeks following Spurs shock 1-0 win over the Gunners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Gunners lie third in the Women's Super League table, three points behind Manchester City and Chelsea, who are locked in the top two spots on 34 points and the same +28 goal difference, with City having the edge in the head-to-head games this season. Arsenal have lost two of their last five and they have proven costly defeats against West Ham and Tottenham. Both those defeats came on the road as at home Arsenal have won all their last six at home after losing their season opener to Liverpool. The Gunners have inflicted the sole defeats on Man City and Chelsea women's teams this season and they will be primed for revenge against their fiercest rivals on Sunday. 

Tottenham Hotspurs Women lie in 6th place in the Women's Super League table with 19 points from 14 games. Spurs have a better record on the road, winning three, drawing two and losing two as opposed to at home where they have won twice and lost three, drawing two. In fact, their last three home defeats have all come in the last five games and their current form is disappointing with just one point earned from the last nine available. They have managed to score just two goals in their last three games, but have shipped five at the other end. What is clear is that when Spurs have faced a top four team, they have struggled. Losing 7-0 and 2-0 to Man City, 4-0 to Man Utd and 2-1 at Chelsea. Their 1-0 win over Arsenal came in a game which the Gunners dominated but could not take their chances.
