By the time this game begins on Sunday, there could be a 17 point gap between Manchester City and league leaders Liverpool. City begin the weekend in third and travel to ninth placed Arsenal. They won away in Zagreb in midweek with Gabriel Jesus again in top form. It's not in attack that they hare having problems though, even with Aguero injured and Sterling struggling for goals. It's at the back where City are in difficulty with no clean sheets in their last ten games. Up against a team that has similar problems to their own, City have a great chance of returning home with the points from this game.

Arsenal are still searching for a new manager but did at least beat West Ham on Monday. They trailed in that game but the Hammers also have a poor defensive record and Arsenal made a successful comeback. That win took them into ninth place, seven points behind fourth place and the same number above the relegation zone. Arsenal score regularly but keep conceding and that's why they are struggling to get into the top four that they so desrire to end the season in. City can further expose the weaknesses their opponents possess and come away with three important points.
