Both Arsenal and Liverpool come into this Friday night Premier League fixture in impressive form. Liverpool start the game in fourth place but only a single point over Arsenal so the two team will be battling it out to see who will be in the top four at the end of the weekend in the final fixtures before Christmas.  Arsenal have won eight of their nine Premier League home games this season. They won the first seven before losing their 100 percent record with a 3-1 defeat by Manchester United but got back in winning ways with a 1-0 victory over struggling Newcastle  United. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last four league and cup games since that defeat by United. Liverpool are in fourth and a win here will take them to within a point of third-placed Chelsea. They continue to be scoring for fun with their latest game being won 4-0 at Bournemouth and it could have been a lot more. That makes it 19 goals in their last five away games in all competitions but perhaps more important is the fact that they have only conceded five times. Liverpool have won five of their last nine away league games this season but the good news is that they are the joint top away scorers level on 24 with Manchester City but only three other teams have conceded more on the road. This game is full of high-class attacking players and the best bet has to be for over 2.5 goals to be scored in what should be one of the highlights of the Christmas period.
