Arsenal begin a season that will see them play in the Europa League and this Friday night fixture gives them the chance to top the Premier League table for at least once this season. So far they have managed to hold onto both Ozil and Sanchez and Arsene Wenger who is somehow still in charge and making promises of title glory, will be glad when the transfer window closes. Pre-season has been mixed for the Gunners losing at home to Seville, a 3-0 loss to Chelsea in the International Champions Cup and then beating them on penalties to win the Community Shield. It'll be interesting to see how Lacazette gets on in his first season in the Premier League and Arsenal will be hoping to stretch their good home league form with just one defeat in the last 18 games.  This time last year, Leicester were defending champions but nearly ended up in a relegation battle before a late surge of good form once Claudio Ranieri was shown the door. They still have Mahrez but like Arsenal will be glad when the transfer windows closes. Away form in the Premier League is their big problem with just two wins in the last 21 and now they start off with away games at Arsenal and Manchester United.   The signing of Iheanacho is a good one, he showed lots of promise when Manchester City gave him a chance. Arsenal can get their season off to a good start with a home win.
