Arsenal vs Dundalk Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

The past few days have not been very rosy for Arsenal and they will be hoping for better times when they host Irish side Dundalk on Match Day 2 in Europa League Group B. The two sides head to the match straight from defeats in their last matches. Arsenal fell 1-0 at home to Leicester City while Dundalk were 1-0 losers away to Waterford. On Match Day 1, Arsenal had a tough time out in Austria against Rapid Wien, and needed to come from behind to win 2-1. Their troubles continued in the Premier League with a 1-0 loss at home to Leicester City in what was a very lackluster performance and they head to this game with one win in their last three matches. While Arsenal have managed to conjure up some positive results, their game has not been convincing. They only looked comfortable against Fulham in the opening game of the season and head here with no clean sheet in their last four matches. they have scored four and conceded as many in the last four matches. While they have managed to win a few of their recent matches at home, they have registered just one clean sheet in their last five at The Emirates. However, the 1-0 loss to Leicester City is the only time in 16 matches that they failed to score at home and will be heavily banking on home form to drive them here. Last season Arsenal went all the way to the second round only to be eliminated by Olympiakos with a defeat at home and they will be hoping to make their home a fortress this time. That defeat marked a second straight home loss in the competition for the Gunners after earlier falling to Eintracht Frankfurt. They have seven wins in their last 10 Europa League matches at home, but in the last five they only have one clean sheet.

Dundalk on the other hand, are on two straight losses ahead of this game. They fell 2-1 to Molde at home on Match Day 1 and head here hoping to sail back to winning ways. Dundalk took the lead at home to Molde in the first half but slumped in the second to allow the Norwegians come back to win. Their loss in the Irish league over the weekend made it three straight matches without a clean sheet but only the second in the last 13 that they have failed to score. It was also the first time in six matches that they have lost away from home and they will hope the tour of London takes them back to winning ways. However, with just five outright wins in 15 Europa League matches, their work will be cut out, especially seeing that they have lost eight of the 15, and kept just four clean sheets.
