APOEL Nicosia bid to reach the last sixteen of the Europa League but have a tough task against Basel. The Cypiot side had mixed results in their home group matches. They beat Seville and Qarabag but lost to bottom side Dudelange 4-3. They haven't reached the last sixteen of this competition since the 2016-17 season and with their away record not so great, will look to get a good lead in this game. APOEL aren't in the best of form though with only two wins from their last five matches. Only one of their last 13 home games has been lost though with both teams scoring in four of the last five.

Basel began this season in the Champions League but failed to make it to the group stages, despite beating PSV on the way. All four of their Champions League qualifiers saw both teams score. They won their group, finishing ahead of Getafe and scored in two of their three away group matches. Form isn't great at present with four losses in their last five league games. That's left them third in the table, five points behind the leaders. Only in three of their last nine away games have they failed to score. A bet on both teams to score in this match looks a good one to make.
