PSV will look to continue their solid start to the season when they travel to take on Almere City in the Eredivisie on Saturday. These sides have made contrasting starts to the season, with the hosts currently second-from-bottom while the visitors lead the league standings. Almere City played out a 0-0 draw against Excelsior last week to record their first point of the campaign. That result followed consecutive losses to Twente, Fortuna Sittard, Feyenoord and PEC Zwolle. Over the first five games of the season, the hosts have already conceded a whopping 14 goals while scoring just four themselves. They have the worst defensive record in the league as it stands. Almere finished third in the Eerste Divisie last season with 70 points, 15 behind Heracles and PEC Zwolle. The Black Sheep are the current bookmakers' favourite to be relegated this season and are massive outsiders in this one. 

Meanwhile, PSV finished in second place for the third consecutive season last term and look determined to go one better this time. They currently lead the league standings with a perfect record after four games, though AZ and Twente are hot on their heels. All three sides are currently on 12 points. PSV beat NEC 4-0 in their last league game which was their second consecutive win by a four-goal margin. Unsurprisingly the visitors are the highest-scoring team so far, with 13 goals already this term, while they have only let in one at the other end. The only blemish on what has been an excellent start to the season for PSV came in the Champions League in midweek when they were beaten 4-0 by Arsenal. The visitors are unbeaten in their last ten away league games and will want to bounce back from their midweek disappointment with a solid result in this one.
