Alaves dropped more points on Friday and that means it's now five league games in a row without a win. They are eighth in the table and that's one place below the final Europa League qualification postiion. That's held by Athletic Bilbao who have the same number of points as Alaves but with a game in hand. Friday saw them held to a 2-2 draw by Real Valladolid who are in the bottom three. It was a home game they should have won having scored two early goals. Alaves only have two points from their last five league games and at home have gone five without a win with four draws. 

Barcelona beat Alaves 3-0 in the reverse fixture and are still nine points clear at the top of the table after a 2-1 home win over Real Sociedad on Friday. That took their unbeaten league run to 21 games since a home loss to Real Betis in November. On their travels, Barcelona are on a 13-game unbeaten run and have scored four goals in three of their last five away league matches. Alaves are struggling for form and the suggested bet is an away win for Barcelona to take them three points closer to retaining their title.
