AL Hilal vs Mamelodi Sundowns Prediction & Betting Tips - CAF Champions League

The CAF Champions League returns after the international break with a number of decisive matches lined up as group stages head to Match Day 5. In Group B, Sudanese side Al Hilal will host South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday. For all teams in the group except Sundowns, the remaining two matches are decisive. Sundowns have already qualified for the second round, being top and on 12 points while Al Hilal have three points and are second in the group. Heading to this game, Al Hilal are unbeaten in nine matches in all competitions; the last time they lost a game it was against Sundowns and that’s their only loss in 22 matches. They’ve only failed to score in three of the nine matches that have come after the loss to Sundowns and are unbeaten in their last 12 home matches, winning eight therein. They have three straight draws in Champions League and are winless in four. In the last four matches in this competition, Al Hilal have failed to score in three but at home they have four clean sheets and are unbeaten in five. At the moment Al Hilal are tied on points with Belouizdad, who will be hosting TP Mazembe in the other game in Algeria.

Sundowns registered a shock result in their last game before the international break as struggling Black Leopards pegged them to a 1-1 draw in the Premier Soccer League. They were high flying until that point, and head here unbeaten in the last 26 matches, winning 19. Sundowns have scored two or more goals in eight of their last 10 matches and have five clean sheets in the process. They head to Sudan with four straight away wins and unbeaten in the last 15 away matches. In the Champions League they are unbeaten in the last seven matches and go to this one with six straight wins and in this same competition they have three straight away wins and only one loss in eight away. Sundowns are the only ones to have registered wins in this group; none of the other three sides have won a game, and the South Africans have scored 10 goals while conceding two in the four matches.
