Unseeded Katie Boulter faces qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic in round one at Queen’s Club. It’s an important week for the British number one as you’ll discover in our match prediction.

The 28-year-old won eight of her 11 grass court matches last year. That included winning the Nottingham tournament and reaching the last eight in Eastbourne. Boulter is yet to get past round three of a WTA Tour event this year.
Ajla Tomljanovic is 64th in the live rankings and had to qualify to play in this main draw. The Australian achieved qualification but had to come from behind to win both of her qualifiers. Tomljanovic is 1-1 in previous matches with Boulter but her win came on grass in 2022.
The 30-year-old also had an 8-3 grass court record last year and reached the Birmingham final. Tomljanovic made it to the quarter-finals at Wimbledon in both 2021 and 2022 but lost in round one last year.
