Ajax vs Chelsea Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Ajax top Group H after winning both of their opening two games. They have a three point lead over Valencia with opponents Chelsea also on three points. The Dutch side have so far beaten Lille 3-0 at home and then won away in Valencia by the same scoreline. That's put them in a strong position to qualify but their next two gams are home and away to Chelsea. Ajax are also top of the Dutch Eredivisie league after ten games with a three point lead over PSV  They are unbeaten in their last 19 competitive games since losing the Champions League semi-final second leg to Tottenham last season. Home form in the Champions League has produced three wins this season. Last season wasn't so easy and they ended it with a run of four without a win. Both teams have scored in four of their last seven home Champions League matches.

Chelsea got off to a bad start in this group when losing at home to Valencia 1-0. They have improved a lot since the early days of the season and will be a big threat to Ajax. Their second group match saw them go to Lille and return with a 2-1 win thanks to a Willian goal 14 minutes from time. Chelse didn't get off to a great start in their first season under Frank Lampard. Form has picked up well though with five wins in a row since that week they lost to both Valencia and Liverpool. 16 goals have been scored in those five games and their 1-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday took them to fourth in the table. They have scored in four of their last six Champions League away games and were good on the road when winning the Europa League last season scoring in all eight away games. The suggested tip here is for both teams to score in what is bound to be an entertaining match.
