Monaco will welcome Fenerbahce for game five of their EuroLeague quarter-final playoff matchup. The series is tied at 2-2 and the winner here will qualify for the Final Four in Berlin. Monaco won a crucial game four away from home to keep their European season alive. It was a close 65-62 victory that forced game five. They will now seek another home victory against Fenerbahce to secure a place in the semi-finals for the second successive year. Sasa Obradovic’s men qualified for the final four for the first time last season and finished third. They are averaging 81.9 points in this series and are shooting 46.7% from the field. Elie Okobo scored 13 points in game four with Mike James and Donatas Motiejunas adding 10 points each. All three players are averaging double figures against Fenerbahce with Motiejunas scoring a joint team-high 12.5 points. The French team is coming off a 79-66 domestic defeat to Cholet which saw a raft of changes made.

Fenerbahce are seeking to qualify for the last four for the first time since the 2018/19 season. Sarunas Jasikevicius’ men began this series on the right footing and won game one 95-91. They are shooting 46.8% from the field. Scott Wilbekin is putting up a team-high 13 points while Nigel Hayes is close behind him with 12.3. Hayes had a team-high 19 points to power his team to victory in game one on the road. The 2016/17 EuroLeague champions had their domestic league assignment postponed and therefore have had more time to prepare for this trip. Jonathan Motley missed game four with a calf issue and could be sidelined here as well.
