Stefanos Tsitsipas is the ninth seed at Roland Garros this year and in round three takes on unseeded Zhizhen Zhang. The winner of this match will be up against either sixth seed Andrey Rublev or unseeded Matteo Arnaldi. A win for Tsitsipas will take him into the fourth round of this tournament for the sixth successive year. Last year saw the Greek reach the last eight and he was the runner-up three years ago. He’s down a place at tenth in the live rankings but sixth in the Live ATP Race. This year has seen him again win the Monte Carlo Masters and he reached the final in Barcelona. His two matches in this tournament have seen him beat Marton Fucsovics in straight sets and Daniel Altmaier in four, losing the second on a tie-break.

Zhizhen Zhang is 44th in the live rankings and five places lower in the ATP Race. The Chinese player has a career-high of 42nd and a win over Tsitsipas can take him as high as 35th. He lost three of his first four clay court matches this year. Form improved in the Italian Open where he got to the last eight. This is only his third time in the main draw at Roland Garros but he’s in round three for the second year in a row. He’s never made it past this stage in a Grand Slam event. Round one saw him beat unseeded Aleksandar Vukic in four sets and then he defeated Lorenzo Sonego. Again, he won in four sets with the second being the one lost. We go for Tsitsipas to win and do so in straight sets.
