TP Mazembe are, surprisingly, struggling in the CAF Champions League going into the fourth round of matches. They are set to travel to Tanzania where they’ll face Yanga this Saturday. Below is our prediction for the match.

Yanga, like their visitors, are also not doing great in the competition. The Tanzanians are bottom of Group A, winless, and having banked just a point from three matches. That point came from their 1-1 draw with TP Mazembe in their last game.

It so happens, also that their only goal in this competition thus far was scored in that match. That away draw was some improvement from back-to-back 2-0 losses earlier.

TP Mazembe have one more point than Yanga and will feel disappointed at their last result in this group. After taking a first half lead, TP Mazembe seemed to be cruising to their first win as they hosted Yanga.

However, their resolute defending was broken in the final minute of the match. Prince Dube scored in stoppage time to cancel out Cheikh Fofana’s 41st minute goal. That was TP Mazembe’s second goal in this competition.

In the Champions League, they have also conceded less than Yanga. In the three matches played The Congolese giants conceded three goals. Only one of those matches saw them keep a clean sheet.
