Both of these players have been on poor recent runs. They have found form in Shanghai and in round three, unseeded Jaume Munar takes on qualifier Yoshihito Nishioka. Who'll reach round four? Time for our match prediction.

Jaume Munar had been beaten in each of his last three matches before this outdoor hard court Masters tournament. The Spaniard was a set down to Marton Fucsovics in round one but fought back to win the match.

He followed that up with a straight sets victory over 22nd seed Flavio Cobolli. Those two wins have taken him to 40th in the live rankings. He's 1-1 in previous meetings with Nishioka but lost the one match played on this surface three years ago.

For the winner, there's a fourth round match against either fourth seed Novak Djokovic or qualifier Yannick Hanfmann.

Yoshihito Nishioka was on an even worse run than Munar. The Japanese player had lost nine successive matches but it's been a big tournament for the 30-year-old. He won two qualifying matches without dropping a set.

In the main draw, Nishioka defeated Aleksandar Vukic 6-3 6-3 and then came from a set down to beat 13th seed Andrey Rublev and is now 152nd in the live rankings. We tip Munar to end his run.
