Wycombe Wanderers continue their bid to win promotion to the Championship. The Choirboys are third in League One with the visitors Shrewsbury Town bottom of the table and looking doomed to relegation. Here's our match prediction.

Wanderers are three points behind Wrexham who are in the second and final automatic promotion spot. They have a game in hand on the Welsh club and have won their last two league fixtures.

On Saturday, they beat Lincoln City at home and that followed a 3-2 midweek away win at Rotherham. Wycombe have only lost one of their last seven home league games and that was to promotion rivals Wrexham.

Shrewsbury Town prop up the table and are 14 points from safety. Even a game in hand doesn't look like saving them from the drop. The weekend produced a 4-1 loss at leaders Birmingham City, their third successive league defeat.

They have gone nine league games without a win and just two points have come from those matches. On the road, Shrewsbury have just two wins and ten points from their 19 games. The last three have been lost with nine goals conceded.
