With the final international break of the year now over, Premier League action takes centre stage, and on Saturday, we head to Molineux, where Wolverhampton Wanderers will take on Crystal Palace. Wolves are bottom of the league standings after 11 games, while the Eagles are in 10th place. Check out our match prediction below!
The Old Gold have endured a dismal start to the season and are now just the third team in the history of the Prem to have taken two or fewer points from their first 11 games. However, there is renewed optimism around the camp, with Rob Edwards abandoning Middlesbrough’s Championship promotion campaign to return to the helm in the Black Country.
Crystal Palace’s impressive performances this season led to 12 of their players being called up by their national teams over the past couple of weeks. However, it is worth noting that since Oliver Glasner took charge at Selhurst, his side has only won one of their last seven matches upon returning from an international break (D5 L1). Let’s get into some more key stats!

Wolves - Crystal Palace: Form Analysis
Following the sacking of Vitor Pereira after their 3-0 defeat to Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers suffered a fifth straight loss ahead of the international break, 3-0 away to Chelsea.
The Old Gold have now conceded a league-high 25 goals in 11 games, including shipping three or more in each of their last four matches, while they’ve netted a league-low seven goals to date.
The hosts have also lost four of their five home league games this season and conceded 3+ goals in each of those defeats. They have not kept a clean sheet at Molineux since late April.
Wolves are winless in their last four league games against this opponent (D1 L3)!
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace entered the November break following a goalless draw at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, which extended their unbeaten run to four matches in all competitions (W3 D1).
The Eagles kept three clean sheets during this unbeaten run, with the only exception being their 3-1 victory over AZ Alkmaar on Matchday 3 of the Conference League at the start of the month.
While Place have taken seven points from their five away league games this season (W2 D1 L2) - which is the fifth-best in the division - both those losses came in their last two outings.

Wolves & Crystal Palace Squad Analysis
It has been a frustrating season to this point for Jorgen Strand Larsen, but he reminded onlookers of his ability during the international break by scoring a stunning goal against Italy.
Wolves fans will be hoping that strike proves to be a catalyst for the Norwegian to kick on now, and if the new boss can find a way to improve supply to him, Larsen could be the reason the Old Gold avoid the drop.
Having now served his suspension, the hosts can welcome Emmanuel Agbadou back to the squad this week, but Rodrigo Gomes, Matt Doherty and Leon Chiwome remain sidelined through injury.
Dean Henderson has the second-most clean sheets in the Prem this season!
The concern from a defensive perspective for Palace, though, is the fitness of Marc Guehi, who pulled out of the England squad through injury, and will be assessed ahead of this fixture.
However, Glasner has received a handful of injury boosts over the past week, with Cheick Doucoure, Chadli Riad, Eddie Nketiah and Rio Cardines all reportedly returning to first-team training.
One player that has been extremely impressive this season is Daniel Munoz, who has made the second-most off-the-ball runs into the opposing box to date (53), only behind Viktor Gyokeres (57).

Our Wolves vs Crystal Palace Prediction
Wolverhampton Wanderers have endured a torrid start to the season, but following the international break and now under new leadership, they will be hoping for a new manager bounce and to try and pull themselves out of the drop zone.
Crystal Palace are the clear favourites here, but historically, they have not performed well when returning from international duty, and there is a chance they could be missing Marc Guehi in central defence, which will be a huge miss. Therefore, our Wolves vs Crystal Palace prediction is BTTS.
