Brighton will face a tougher challenge on Match Day 2 of the Premier League, as they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The two sides posted mixed results on Match Day 1 and Brighton arrives placed second while Wolves are 17th. Wolverhampton Wanderers had a good showing against Manchester United in their opening game. However, a combination of tough luck and poor finishing conspired to see them lose 1-0 at Old Trafford. That marked the first loss after six matches, following a steady preseason. For a side that saw the manager leave in a huff days before kickoff, Wolves did well at Old Trafford. They will want to improve on the unfortunate result even though their league form hasn’t been the best. Massive departures from the playing unit in the summer also didn’t help matters. Watford haven't won a league game in four outings; they lost three of those without scoring. However, they will have the benefit of doubt, having lost to Manchester United (twice) and Arsenal in that run. Wolves haven't lost at home in their last five league matches – they won four.

They have two wins in their last four league matches and have scored in each of their last 17. A result of a good run Brighton had last season is that they’ve lost a number of key players. The most recent high-profile departure was Moises Caicedo, who is now at Chelsea. Still, Brighton look stable and ready to move on, after the big-money move. While they carry to this game a good scoring run, they haven't been the best defensively. In the last five league matches, they have no clean sheet. In seven of their last 10 matches, both teams have scored.
