Friday is another important night for Wrexham's promotion challenge. They are second in League One and travel to Wigan who are 18th and still in a spot of relegation trouble. Can the Dragons get an away win? Read our match prediction.

Wrexham's current position is the second and final place that will earn automatic promotion to the Championship. They are three points ahead of third-placed Wycombe Wanderers and both clubs have five games remaining.

Their last fixture saw Wrexham beat Burton Albion 3-0 at home. They are now unbeaten in their last five league games with four wins and a draw. On the road, the Welsh club have won nine league games with only one of the last eight being lost.

Wigan had been in the relegation places but are up to 18th now. The Latics are only seven points above the drop zone so there's still a bit of work to do to ensure survival. They have gone five league games without a win, though three of the last four have ended in draws.

Home form has produced six league victories this season but they have lost nine times. Only one of the last four have been won and the most recent game saw them lose to Bolton. We tip Wrexham to win this.
