A Championship match on Saturday afternoon will see West Brom hosting Watford. The Baggies are in 8th while the Hornets are 10th ahead of our prediction on the contest. Both teams are clinging onto playoff hopes but need a strong final five games to have a chance.

The home side have only lost three times at The Hawthorns all season, although two of them have come in their last five games to Blackburn and Sunderland. Their prior loss came against Middlesbrough.

A few too many games earlier in the season ended in stalemate and they have gone the wrong way in terms of goals scored, netting just four in their last five at home. 

No team in the top 16 in the division have lost more away games than Watford with 11. It has been a struggle defensively for them, shipping 34 times, an average of 1.7 per away game. 

That has been improved upon of late, however, only conceding there in total in their last four away from home, keeping a pair of clean sheets in the process. With West Brom scuffling for goals, they have a good opportunity to continue that sequence.
