West Bromwich Albion will clash with Chesterfield for the second time in as many weeks in their FA Cup 3rd round replay at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night. This promises to be an entertaining match after these sides played out a gripping 3-3 draw in their last encounter, where West Brom just about managed to snatch a late equalizer to force a replay on their home patch courtesy of Brandon Thomas-Asante's 93rd-minute goal. The Championship side was in good form leading up to that match with three consecutive wins and followed it up with another win on Saturday over Luton Town to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to five. Their impressive league form has propelled them into the playoff spots in 6th place, just one point behind Blackburn and Middlesbrough in 5th and 4th, respectively. West Brom is five games unbeaten on their home patch and will fancy themselves to extend that run against a lower-league side that has been inconsistent away from home. 

Chesterfield also comes into this match carrying good form. The visitors are fourth in English League football's fifth division, with 49 points in 23 games. They are three points behind Woking in third but have played three fewer matches. Chesterfield is unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions and has had a full week's rest since their last two matches were postponed. Over the course of their league season so far, Chesterfield has won 15 matches, drawn four, and lost four. After leading the first leg tie for almost 3/4 of the match, they will be hoping that they can go one better in this one and record a famous cup win over a much bigger opponent.
