The Washington Wizards will play host to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Capital One Arena in the NBA on Tuesday night. The Wizards are ninth in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Sixers are second. Let’s get into the match prediction!

The Washington Wizards will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways here, after suffering a 139-113 defeat to the Hornets on Sunday - their second loss in three this season. 

The Wizards held an 11-point lead at halftime but endured a dismal second half, during which they were outscored 88-51. CJ McCollum and Alex Sarr combined for 45 points and 10 assists.

Washington only won eight home games last season and are 0-1 this term. Bilal Coulibaly will miss this match through injury, and Tre Johnson is listed as a doubt. 

Meanwhile, after missing the Playoffs for the first time since 2016-17 last season, the Philadelphia 76ers are off to an excellent start this year, now 3-0 after beating Orlando 136-124 at home last night. 

With Paul George and Joel Embiid both sidelined through injury, Tyrese Maxey led the team with 43 points, while rookie VJ Edgecombe delivered another impressive performance of 26 points and seven assists. 

The Sixers won two of their three games against the Wizards last season and are 7-3 in their last 10. George, Trendon Watford and Dominik Barlow are ruled out, while Embiid is questionable.
