The League Two Playoff Semi-Final Second Leg between Walsall and Chesterfield takes place at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on Friday, with the home team, the Saddlers, leading the Spireites 2-0 from the away leg at the SMH Group Stadium. Check out our prediction for this crucial match for both teams below!

Coming into this game, the first leg produced a surprising result in many ways. Walsall stormed into a 2-0 half-time lead and Chesterfield were toothless in the second half, leaving the Saddlers in a very strong position heading into this second leg.

Walsall headed into the playoffs after blowing a 12-point lead at the top of League Two to finish fourth. Chesterfield secured a key win on the final day to leapfrog Salford City and Grimsby Town to claim seventh in the table.

Ahead of the first leg, Walsall finished the season by ending a run of 13 league games without a win, defeating Crewe Alexandra 1-0 away from home. Their first leg win over Chesterfield was their second consecutive away win without conceding.

Chesterfield headed into the playoffs on the back of two good wins, a 4-1 home win over Morecambe and a 1-0 away win over Accrington Stanley, which earned them the final League Two playoff spot.
