Viktoria Plzen host Qarabag with both teams having everything to play for, after the first leg’s scoreless draw. The Czech side are in an excellent form at the moment. They are unbeaten in their eight competitive games this season, having won six of them. In order to be one step away from the group stages of the Champions League, Plzen had to overcome the obstacles of Finnish HJK and Moldovan Sheriff Tiraspol, managing to win all four games of the tie. Another reason why the hosts should be hopeful of winning this one is their form at the Doosan Arena. They have lost just once there in the last twenty games, while they have won fifteen of those.  

Qarabag has been a known name in the European stage in recent years, making regular appearances in the group stages of the Europa League and even reaching the knock-out stages of the Conference League last year, losing out to Marseille. This year however they have really outdone themselves, eliminating Lech Poznan, Zurich and Ferencvaros yet conceding at least once in all of those double ties. With regards to their league form, Qarabag started strongly, winning their first two games and scoring five goals in the process.
