The United States of America began their defence of the Women's World Cup with a staggering 13-0 win over Thailand. They created 39 goal chances in that game and that was their seventh straight win. Those games have seen them 36 goals and concede just three, with all of them conceded in the 5-3 win over Australia. Chile are ranked 39th in the world and lost their opening fixture 2-0 to Sweden. They will expect to lose this game but then beat Thailand in their final group game.
