The 2024 Belgian Cup final will be contested by Union Saint-Gilloise and Royal Antwerp this Thursday. This year’s final features teams with six Belgian Cup trophies between them. USG will be here seeking their third while Antwerp have won four. Saint-Gilloise have hit highs this season, playing in the Europa League and Conference League. As the season draws to a close, they are in the fight for a double but here they’ll be putting aside their league ambitions. They were eliminated from Europe in March and in the Belgian league, they are three points behind Club Brugge with three games to go. Union Saint-Gilloise have been on the rise in recent years and here they can win their first trophy since 2021. They come unbeaten in three matches, having won two. USG also have two clean sheets in their last three matches. To get to the final, USG claimed a 3-2 aggregate win over Club Brugge. They now have a chance to avenge their loss in the semis last season, against Antwerp.

Antwerp claimed their fourth Belgium Cup trophy last season after beating Mechelen 2-0 in the final in April. This season, they've had a more comfortable run-out in the semis, beating KV Oostende 4-1 on aggregate to book their final ticket. Antwerp have met USG five times since beating them in last year’s semis, and have failed to win any of the five matches. In their two meetings in April, Union Saint-Gilloise emerged winners on both occasions. The most recent ended 4-1, Cameron Puertas’ brace taking his tally to five in five games against Antwerp. Coming into this game, Antwerp haven't had a great run, losing each of their last three matches. Their only win in the last eight matches was against Cercle Brugge, the 1-0 victory is also their only clean sheet in the eight games. In their last outing, Antwerp lost 2-1 at home to Club Brugge, conceding two or more for the fourth time in five matches. Meanwhile, they failed to score in four of their last seven matches.
