AC Milan are back to domestic action and will head out to Turin for their next Serie A match, against Torino. This match finds Milan in seventh place in the league standings, five places ahead of Torino. Below is our prediction for the match.
Hosts Torino, on 28 points, are just eight above the relegation zone and have been struggling in recent matches. In their most recent outing, away to Bologna, they lost 3-2 thanks to Cristiano Biraghi’s stoppage time own goal.
That result left them with just one win in nine matches. They’ve only lost twice in 11 matches though, and that should pump them up a bit.
Milan were this week dumped out of the UEFA Champions League and they will be eyeing an immediate response here. They are coming from a 1-1 home draw with Feyenoord, losing the tie 2-1 on aggregate.
Now they only have the top four and Coppa Italia to play for. As regards the top four, they are on the right track, being unbeaten in the last four league matches. In that period, they registered three wins.
Their last two league matches also produced clean sheets, though Milan haven't been scoring a lot in recent matches. They managed more than a goal in just three of the last 10 league games.
