An Eastern Conference matchup in the NBA on Friday sees the surprise-package Toronto Raptors hosting the Charlotte Hornets. The Raptors are sitting third in the standings at 15-8 while the Hornets are 12th at 6-16. Check out our match prediction below!

It’s shaping up to be another difficult season for Charlotte who have already fallen 10 games below .500. They managed just 19 wins last season, although are tracking so far to finish above that number this year.

In their last appearance, the Hornets were beaten 119-104 at home to the New York Knicks. It was the team’s second defeat in a row as well as their ninth loss in the last 11 overall. At home, the Hornets have managed to post a 5-6 record, which is significantly better than their 1-10 mark on the road.

The Raptors have been one of the biggest surprises of the season so far as they look to finish with a winning record for the first time since the 2021-22 campaign.

Toronto comes into this clash off the back of a close 123-120 away loss to the LA Lakers. It was the Raptors’ third loss in their last four and they’ll be desperate to right the ship against a struggling Hornets team on Friday.
